Sunday, October 8, 2006 in Morris Park.
"It’s a great way to celebrate my Italian heritage and my Bronx roots. Plus it’s fun to know that I’m following in the Grand Marshal footsteps of some of our most colorful natives such as Regis Philbin, Sonny Grosso and Vic Damone."

Girls Just Want to Have Fun
And they did when Valerie Smaldone (left), award-winning radio personality on 106.7 Lite-FM hosted a private party at Tony’s di Napoli on Friday to welcome Cyndi Lauper to Broadway. Lauper arrived shortly after the curtain fell on the first night of previews for her show The Threepenny Opera, and once there, “she-bop”ped into the wee hours with friends and cast mates.

If you have any interest in the voice-over world, please purchase, "Secrets of Voice Over Success". Valerie joined her  colleagues in the business, and contributed a chapter to this compilation.
